What to know before you send.
Legal name match
The requested Sender ID must explicitly match your legal company, brand, or product name.
Letter of appointment
Download our template, print it on your company letterhead, sign it over a meterai stamp, and apply your company seal.
Legal documents
Provide clear copies of your company’s legal registrations, such as NPWP (Tax ID), NIB (Business ID), and SIUP (Trade License).
Company website
Include an active website URL that clearly showcases your business profile and services.
Proof of number collection
Operators require proof of how user phone numbers are collected. Please provide a screenshot of the sign-up form along with the corresponding website URL or app store link.
Financial sector licensing
If you operate in the financial sector, you must attach your official operating license from OJK, Bank Indonesia, or BAPPEBTI.
Approval timeline & deposit
Sender ID approval takes 3-14 working days. You will need a minimum initial deposit of Rp 2,000,000.
Quarterly minimum traffic
To keep it active, you must send at least 100 SMS per quarter per operator. Otherwise, the operator will suspend your Sender ID.
One-way communication
SMS Masking is for one-way broadcasting only. Customers cannot reply to your messages.
Sender ID format
Up to 11 characters long. It can contain letters, numbers, spaces, and hyphens (-).
Sender ID content
The Sender ID must directly represent your official company, brand, or product name.
Character limits & GSM-7
Delivery uses the GSM-7 standard: letters, numbers, spaces, and common punctuation (no emojis). A single SMS holds 160 characters; longer texts are automatically concatenated up to 4 SMS.

All messages containing a verification code or temporary password must be routed through the dedicated OTP channel.
What counts as OTP
Any text containing a PIN, token, numeric code, or temporary password is automatically treated as an OTP.
Penalty for wrong route
Sending OTPs over the regular route incurs a 200% penalty. Repeated violations will result in a permanent Sender ID ban.
